In the object design course, we started the year with this project. The idea was to design a bench that would fit into a Parisian park of our choice. Here is a bench designed to blend into Edmond de Rothschild Park, rather than simply being placed there. Inspired by the robust simplicity of Japanese bridges, I created a seat that respects the spirit of the park. Using a balance of wood, concrete and steel, I designed a bench that would blend discreetly into the natural surroundings. Solid and elegant, it invites you to take a natural and serene break.
Voici un banc conçu pour s’intégrer dans le parc Edmond de Rothschild, et non juste pour y être posé. Inspiré par la simplicité robuste des ponts japonais, j’ai créé une pièce d’assise qui respecte l’âme du parc. En utilisant l’équilibre du bois, du béton et de l’acier, j’ai pensé un banc qui se fondrais discrètement dans la nature. Solide et élégant, il vous invite à une pause naturelle et sereine.
